A Laid-Back Fall Family Session in West Glacier

West Glacier is one of my favorite places for family sessions, wide open fields, evergreen forests, and mountain peaks that always seem to show off at sunset. This session was the perfect example of why I love photographing here.

Relaxed, Candid, and Easygoing

This family showed up ready to have fun and keep things simple. No stiff posing, no pressure, just hanging out together in one of the prettiest spots in Montana. The kids explored the tall grasses, ran around, and made each other laugh, which created some of my favorite candid moments of the evening.

The mix of golden fall tones, soft evening light, and snow-dusted mountains made the entire session feel warm and peaceful. West Glacier has this ability to look incredible in every direction, which gives families so much variety in their final gallery without walking far.
